Bingo

Bingo is a young adult, neutered male Heeler type mix. He came to Redstone missing the lower half of his back leg from a very old injury. He underwent a formal surgical amputation and recovered very well from this. He was also heartworm positive and has completed treatment. Through Bingo's medical care process, he has been exposed to car trips, new people, new places, and a lot of hands on interaction. He has come a very long way from the drastically undersocialized dog that first arrived, but he will need management regarding socialization as he adjusts further. He was not a feral dog coming to us and has lived in a home before, he just did not have socialization beyond that. He requires a quiet home and would do best with someone that just needs a couch buddy. He enjoyes being out in the sun from time to time, but all he really desiers is a bed in a nice quiet place to curl up in. He is good with other dogs, but mostly chooses to keep to himself. Bingo is crate trained and house trained. He has been neutered and treated for heartworm disease, he is on monthly heartworm/flea/tick prevention, he has been dewormed, he is microchipped with lifetime registration, vaccinated, and he is ready to be placed in a loving home.
