COURTESY POST FOR CAMP LOTSADOGS Billy is nothing short of a "SuperDog"! He was given to rescue when his family split up. He was very upset and started taking over the house, not letting people in, barking at other people & dogs. He arrived 3 weeks ago and he is a great dog! Great with other dogs, kids, cats, and people. This dog has been "bark busted", obedience trained, does tricks, is an all round excellent dog. He likes camping, cottages, swimming, and playing. He needs an owner who will wear him out, run him thru his paces and tricks. This is what his mom has to say: Hi Susan, Here are some pictures of Billy. He is 6 yrs. old his birthday was this past weekend August 23rd, he is a shelter dog, got him when he was 2 months old from Animal Services. He weighs about 25 lbs. Loves water.. like really does.. he will swim and chase bubbles for hours, given the chance. Great off leash, always comes when he's called. He loves attention, can do many tricks and is quick to go through his repertoire when he knows there is food around. As for what Billy can do: He will dig on command (anyone adopting him - if they are gardeners he'll dig all their holes for them WHEN THEY ASK HIM TO).. He will lay down, sit, 'sit pretty' (looks like begging), he can play dead (get him to do this by making a symbol like a gun and say 'bang!'), he will give you a 'high five'... he will stay sometimes, doesn't always last. He will always ask to come on the couch or bed, by whining next to it until you invite him. Can't stress enough how much he loves water.. like he's addicted to it. Although he never strays too far off leash, he once ran across the street just to get to a fountain that was in front of an apartment building. Billy is fantastic in the car.. he loves long car rides and posing for pictures.. when you take out a camera or someone is taking pictures on the Beach, he usually runs over and tries to pose.
