Billy

Pittsburgh, PA: Billy was found last year, believed to he dumped by his "family' he was adopted but now is sadly being returned. Billy is about 2 years old. Fully vetted, housebroken and a total love. Billy is good with dogs, has not been around cats, and is good with humans. Unfortunately, Billy gets too excited when visitors come to the home and the family who adopted him does not feel comfortable with the amount of visitors they have and his behaviors. Billy is not aggressive in any way, but instead he's over stimulated and cannot control himself when people come to the home. He jumps on people, does that nipping that a lot of pitties do when hyper/excited, and gets a serious case of the wiggle jumps. It is hard for the family to calm him. They have tried to crate him but when he hears visitors he cries and barks until he is able to see them, then it is the jumping/nipping/craziness. The family is very social and has people at the home pretty much daily and ni longer feels it is a good fit. Billy knows "place" and will stay in his place while the family is eating dinner. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate but is left out when no one is home. He loves to snuggle his family, putting his head right in your lap at all times. He currently is with children ages 13, 16, and 18 years old. Due to his excitement level at times he would do best in a home without smaller kids. He loves to play with other dogs and also gets super excited to see them just like he does with people. Billy loves car rides and adventures. He walks great, doesn't pull and walks right next to you.
