Bilbo had a skin condition but is now growing a new coat and is looking good. He has experience living both indoors and outdoors, and presently his coat is ready to live outdoors again with the rest of the team. He plays with the other loose dogs and puppies, and seems to be enjoying himself more than he has at any other time.

Bilbo did some sprint racing with Lynn, but he would be better as a distance dog. Bilbo is a neutered male, long-legged and very active. Already microchipped. He is three or four years old; his ideal running weight would be around 55-60 pounds. Bilbo works hard and is remarkably fast in harness for his size. He has a great attitude in harness, but can be a little bit shy with new people or in strange situations. Bilbo likes hugs and car rides. He is a also quick learner. He can run lead but he needs a strong and experienced co-leader until he gains more confidence and experience. Bilbo has run a variety of distances and does well in every position, although he's not a hard driving lead dog.
