My Story

A protégé (aka pupégé) of rappers, Fat Joe and Big Pun, this little Puerto Rican chihuahua just steals the show! Big Joe is not big in the slightest, weighing in at a wee 6 pounds. The vet estimates him to be between 5-7 years old (based on his teeth). HE HAS HAD A DENTAL! Big Joe has been living in foster since his rescue and she says: -he’s great with wee wee pads! -he likes to sleep on a doggie bed and in people’s laps (he looooves cuddling with his humans) -he gets along great with other dogs of all sizes and is a typical chi at times, arguing with the others over human laps but he never bites ever! -he enjoys playing with the other dogs too! -he’s got spunk! Some people may peg him to be “old” but for those who know, for a Chihuahua he’s like a young adult! -he’s not a barker and doesn’t have any anxiety which we have observed -for those Chihuahua lovers out there, he’s your perfect boy! Definitely a little chi personality but also very loving to all and sweet! If you feel that Big Joe is a good fit for you/your family, please complete an application from our site, miraclesforsatosrescue.org FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION PLEASE COMPLETE AN APPLICATION! https://www.miraclesforsatosrescue.org/adopt Please then email the application back to us at [email protected] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE READ: We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority. Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it need for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day to day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog. In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of puppy. Please also note that any dog that is "house trained" will still need patience in a new home, new people and new schedule. Please be ready to house train ANY dog you adopt! Thank you for understanding.
