Big Boy was found chained to a tree in someone's front yard. He has stitches in his ears and is healing from whoever had him that cropped his ears then abandoned him. (There's a name for people like that cannot be put in print due to the wide demographic of our supporters and followers.) Big Boy, being the breed he is, is forgiving and still loves humans! He enjoyed having his ears attended to and being cleaned up by the veterinary staff. Big Boy is dog friendly with submissive dogs but can be territorial. He was indifferent to the cats when walked by them. Because he still loves humans in spite of his treatment by them, shelter staff feel he would be fine with respectful children. Big Boy is due for a break. He's been mistreated and abandoned and needs a family/person that will make him a part of their family, give him time to decompress and love and be kind to him.
