A nice officer found me wandering loose and brought me here. My skin was so very very bad!! It's nothing contagious and the folks at the shelter (never mind my foster family) are helping me get on the mends. They tell me I will make a full recovery! But I do need to find myself a forever home. Do you have the time, energy, and patience for a young gal like me? I'm still really just a puppy and have some growing and learning to do but I'm a smart girl and will figure things out. PS Demodectic mange is not contagious to humans, other dogs, or other pets! There are things that can aggrevate it such as stress, fleas, straw... While Beverly would no doubt enjoy a fenced in yard to run around and play in, she will not do well as an outdoor dog (nor even an indoor-outdoor dog.) She needs to be kept clean and flea free. And would do best as a city dog as a trip out to your barn could cause a flare up. Thinking of taking a hay ride around the harvest season? Leave her at home. Otherwise she would love to explore your world with you!
