Beverly is one of our seniors, with a birthdate of 1997 in our files, though I'm not sure that's right. She could be older. She's got the head of a black lab and the wooly coat and blotchy tongue of a chow. Personality is all lab from what I've seen.
She's a big, big dog-- wide and broad and hairy and a good bit too fat. She's also got a big heart for the humans!
She's lived a long time with Roscoe, who is one of our oldest dogs. They look similar, but have different birthdays. Hmm, this is a mystery I'm going to investigate further.
She's friendly and loves to be petted! She's a tail wagging, wide-open grin sort of dog.
She gets along well with Roscoe and has been kennel- mate with him for a long time. They are good companions to one another. Consider adopting them both! It would be such a good kindness to let them live out their days in a home setting where they could get a little daily love from their humans.
