Betty is a lovely medium-sized dog at a fluffy 44# of weight and is estimated to be around 7 years old. Betty came to Animal Friends as a stray and initially was a bit shy, but quickly warmed up and showed off her sweet as pie personality. Betty recently scored herself a temporary foster home. They said she was such a great house guest! Fully house trained, walks well on a leash, and is getting along wonderfully with their dog. She doesn't jump on people or bark. She's truly a diamond in the rough! Betty is current on shots, licensed and microchipped. All dogs over 6 months have been heartworm tested, and all dogs are treated monthly for fleas/ticks and are on Heartworm prevention (NexGard PLUS). All pets are spayed/neutered prior to a finalized adoption. All our dogs receive a behavior assessment before being placed for adoption to determine initial behaviors towards people and other dogs in the shelter environment.
