Betty

In search of that forever home. It's been a month now since we found "Betty" in rough shape on our doorstep - literally. She's now healthy, spayed, up to date on vaccines, and starting to put on weight. Here's what we have learned about her: probably close to 2 years old amazing personality - always smiling, happy to see everyone, outgoing 63 lbs - starting to fill out, although we can still see some ribs loves everyone she meets - adults, kids, babies loves her crate - good sleeper and no accidents loves being around people, and really starting to figure out how to live in a house (still counter surfs from time to time, and she's about house trained) gives some really good licks gets along well with Oscar our 8 year old resident dog who is about her same size has a great appetite - also loves pupperoni she's been a mama at some point in her life definitely has some pointer/flushing instinct - she would love to chase squirrels if she could pretty good on a leash - has some leash reactivity when she comes in contact with other dogs - we are working on it and she's getting better unknown about cats, small dogs, chickens easy energy inside, good energy outside still has some puppy in her- will definitely grab your shoe and hope that you to chase her great in the car great on hikes good in the water but has not tried swimming very trainable - has sit and shake down, working on down and stay If you, or anyone you know, is looking for a dog, Betty may be your answer. We'll be glad to meet you somewhere even if you're beyond Atlanta. We think she'd love a larger yard. Please share broadly!
