BETTY HAS BEEN RECLAIMED BY HER OWNER! Betty is an adult Beagle who came to us from the Brushy/Mattie area of Lawrence Co on Sept 27. She is estimated at 6 years of age. A man found Betty and had been feeding her and when no one claimed her, he brought her to us in hopes her owner would find her. Betty is sooooooo sweet as most Beagles are. She is very quiet and calm....a real mellow gal. Betty was wearing an orange neon collar when found with a name plate from the Fort Gay area. The number had been disconnected but a neighbor told us the owners had moved to the Webbville area a while back. We are hoping they see this and come and take Betty home. If not, Betty will be available for adoption. She would make a great companion for just about any type of family. Though a bit older, she appears to be in good health. We love having Betty with us but we would love it even more if her family found her. So Betty is sending out good vibes to her family in hopes she will soon be home.
