Bethany is now out of the shelter, has been treated at Chickamauga Veterinary Clinic to have her wounds addressed, and is now in a safe and comfortable foster home! From what we have heard, she was living as a stray for the past few weeks, several people were feeding her then someone thought shooting her would be a good option. Luckily there was someone there to report it, and Walker County Animal Control stepped in to handle the crime and this girl was taken to Walker County Animal Shelter where she could be taken to safety.
Now we need to focus on getting her healed up, fully vetted and released for adoption. All who have interacted with her have told us how incredibly sweet she is, even after being shot and in obvious pain.
This is only possible due to a foster offer, and a transporter who dropped everything on an extremely short notice and got her moved to the veterinarian.
THIS is what happens with teamwork and support from the community!

If anyone would like to donate to her care, we would definitely appreciate it!
