My Story

Isn’t she a cutie? We think Bertha is an older adult, maybe 5-6 years old. She was a stray and we rescued her from Elk River Animal Control when her time was up. She is a small girl, about 22#, and has a hefty build. We think she is a Rat Terrier mix, but you can call her what you want.

Bertha is crate trained and appears to house trained. She gets along with other dogs. She is quite interested in cats, so that may take some patience to get her used to them. She is very submissive, so we think she would be great with kids, but she has not been around kids while in our care.

Bertha loves to have her tummy rubbed—that is her favorite thing in life. You go to pet her and she immediately assumes to belly rub position! She is such a little sweetheart!

Who wants to give this special girl her forever home?
