My Story

ADOPT ME ONLINE: https://ophrescue.org/dogs/13537 Meet Berry from Kosovo! Looking for a furry friend who will steal your heart with his sweet nature? Berry might just be the one for you! About Berry: Berry is an 11 month-old lab mixed breed. He's about 40 lbs, the perfect size for cuddles! Berry is a bit shy and insecure, but with patience and encouragement, he's learning to navigate new people, dogs, and environments. He's treat motivated and can't help but increase his training skills! Berry loves playing with stuffed toys and is medium energy. He walks into his crate without much fuss. While he's not a fan of cats, he gets along great with other dogs, especially his friend Ruby who also came from Kosovo. Is Berry the missing piece to your family puzzle? If you're looking for a loyal companion who's ready to learn and grow with you, Berry could be your perfect match! Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this sweet boy into your home. Get in touch with us to learn more about Berry and how you can give him the loving forever home he deserves! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/BAs7WQ3SAKa4xgsM/?mibextid=xCPwDs To adopt fill out the simple online application at https://ophrescue.org Operation Paws for Homes, Inc. (OPH) rescues dogs and cats of all breeds and ages from high-kill shelters in NC, VA, MD, and SC, reducing the numbers being euthanized. With limited resources, the shelters are forced to put down 50-90% of the animals that come in the front door. OPH provides pet adoption services to families located in VA, DC, MD, PA and neighboring states. OPH is a 501(c)(3) organization and is 100% donor funded. OPH does not operate a shelter or have a physical location. We rely on foster families who open their homes to give love and attention to each pet before finding a forever home. All adult dogs, cats, and kittens are altered prior to adoption. Puppies too young to be altered at the time of adoption must be brought to our partner vet in Ashland, VA for spay or neuter paid for by Operation Paws for Homes by 6 months of age. Adopters may choose to have the procedure done at their own vet before 6 months of age and be reimbursed the amount that the rescue would pay our partner vet in Ashland.
