Say hello to Bernie, the 50-pound male who was saved from euthanasia at a high-kill shelter. Bernie was housed with another dog at the shelter, so we know he's dog-friendly. He's around 2-3 years old and has been through a lot after being dumped at a stressful shelter. Bernie is a bit timid right now, but once he decompresses and feels more comfortable, we're sure he'll come out of his shell.
Despite his initial shyness, Bernie seems sweet and active. He's looking for someone who has an active lifestyle and can help him transition to life in a loving home with continued training. Bernie deserves a second chance at life and a forever family who will give him the love and care he needs.
