Bernice

Meet Bernice! Bernice is our beautiful thinker. She can adjust from playing with her siblings to just sitting and watching them, probably deciding if she wants to be part of all that crazy play. She also does well with children and can chase them or sit quietly in their lap. Bernice is also animated and will share stories with her foster mom. It's usually with an adorable little bark, tilt of her head and hop. And then off she goes. She is the first to settle in for a nap or at night, but she is also one of the first to wake up and get the crew going. And she loves to greet mom at the gate with that cute little face - so we are early to bed and early to rise with her. It's a good thing she is a fantastic napper. The "Old Soul" puppies are about 13 weeks old (born ~5/1/2024). Their mom appears to be a German Shepherd mix (see photos), and some of the other dogs on the property features Anatolian Shepherd/Lab qualities. We expect but cannot guarantee these puppies will grow into large adults. The puppies are started on core vaccines, dewormed/de-flead, and can be microchipped upon their arrival to NY/Schoharie County. __________________________________________________________________________ **If you are interested, YOU NEED TO APPLY. Our process is straightforward but involves a phone interview, reference checks and a home assessment. An adoption fee of $450, and a refundable $35 spay/neuter deposit (required by NYS law), apply.
