My Story

BERNARDO Kennel Card: 03012024G-D2 Bernardo is a 47lb, 1.5-year-old, Male, American Staffordshire Terrier. This sweet and friendly lowrider came into the Delano Animal Shelter as a stray. Bernardo has been at the Delano Animal Shelter since March 1, 2024. Bernardo loves the company of humans and is very playful. Bernardo has been tested with multiple dogs, males and females, big to medium sizes but unfortunately did not do the best. Bernardo "DOES NOT" enjoy the company of dogs, he would need some training and patience to help him become dog friendly. Bernardo would do best as the only dog in the household. Bernardo has been Neutered, has received his Rabies shot, is Vaccinated and Microchipped. At this time, it is unknown if he is house/crate trained. Dogs are NOT tested with children and cats; his behavior towards children and cats is unknown. He is available for adoption/rescue as of 3/6/24.
