Benzi

**Adoption Fee Partially Sponsored by Linda D. Hunt. Benzi was dumped a few months ago, all the way back in January, as a much smaller dog. Thankfully, a kind family took care of him while they waited for placement here. They became attached to him during that time and told us a bit about him. They also provided many of the photos that you see on his profile. Benzi was in very poor condition, just skin and bones, when he was picked up off the side of the road. He looks fantastic now, a great healthy weight with a gorgeous light brindle coat and white fancy splashes. His fosters described him as active, affectionate, confident, independent, and housebroken and cratetrained. He spent time playing with their dog through the fence, and he did pass his dog aggression test upon intake. The said that his favorite game is fetch and that he will carry his favorite toy made up of three interlocking rings all over the place. He travels well and was accustomed to sleeping in a large crate overnights. He entered his kennel easily when he was at their home. At the shelter, Benzi is a joyful, bouncy presence. His light brindle coloring is arrestingly attractive. He LOVES playtime with his human and dog friends, and he is a huge fetch aficionado. He would do great with another athletic and energetic dog in the home who could match his rough-and-tumble playstyle and keep him on his toes! At his vet appointment, they suggested that he could be an Anatolian mix. But whatever Benzi is made up of matters less than his sweet, playful personality and adorable appearance.
