My Story

My name is Benji. I am 4 years old and I weigh about 35 lbs. I got my name because I am as smart as Benji. I have not had a very good life. I have spent the last 3 years of my life living on the streets of a small town in Tennessee. These nice ladies tried their best to help but they could not take me in. They did feed me and they helped my friend Little Momma too. Our story is sad. We both were dropped of separately but we found each other. Little Momma was hit by a car. I was so glad that I was there. I pulled her to safety and together we healed her wounds. Shortly after that she had babies. They were not mine but I did my best to take care of them. The near by restaurant usually threw out food. Boy the day they throw out that bag of bread. I was so happy to be able to drag that home to Little Momma and her babies. They were so hungry and that helped so much. Finally one lady helped Littile Momma's puppies. And then this nice laby helped me and Little Momma. We have been to the vet and are now healthy and ready to go our separate ways and find our forever families. I am working on that house training thing. It might take me awhile but I promise that I will get the hang of it. And let me tell you I love people. I never knew what loving was. It is pretty nice.
