My Story

Bella Rose is the sweetest senior gal who is the Bella the ball here at PACC! Shes a favorite of staff and volunteers alike and is oh- so- deserving of a loving retirement home! Heres what her friends have said about her: Bella is wonderful when meeting new people. She is social, tolerant, friendly, and well-behaved. She accepts pets from everyone and her tail is constantly wagging. She is very calm and quiet and sits close to me and solicits attention and oftentimes she`ll even roll over for tummy rubs. She`s so easy and such a pleasure to be with. I met Bella Rose and she is pretty much perfect and an all-around good girl! She was very friendly when greeting me as I entered her kennel and she welcomed petting and affection with lots of tail wags. She eagerly accepted treats, took them gently and showed me that she knows how to sit nicely for them. I found her very easy to leash up and she walks like a dream. We spent time in a play yard and although she enjoyed exploring, she kept a watch on me and kept returning to me for attention and treats. This sweet, loving gal is a real gem with just the right mix of energy - she would make a wonderful retirement companion. Bella Rose is pretty much the perfect dog! Easy to walk, easy to leash, non-reactive, engaged with her walker, and just very good girl. Bella would likely do great in a family with respectful children. She is exceedingly gentle and very people oriented. In her former home of seven years Bella was described as a good and gentle dog who was housebroken, crate trained, and a couch potato. She likes car rides, prefers being indoors where its cool and comfy, and her former people described her as a truly sweet and laid-back dog. Bella has some medical needs (Cushings disease was recently ruled out), so is looking for a patient home with a family who will be committed to her care. She has shared her kennel at the shelter and has been independent and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Please ask about how you can help this special girl today!
