Approximate age: Bella is young, maybe 9-12 months. She is only 40lbs...a perfect size!!!
Personality: Bella is shy and submissive. She seems great with kids, but takes a little warming up to be comfortable with men. She is very sweet and is good in the car! We'll update more when her foster family learns more about her.
Forever home: Bella is in a foster home with dogs and teenagers and adults (of course). We will know more about her perfect forever home soon. It is already apparent that someone needs to spend time teaching her to walk nicely on a leash and due to her shyness, she needs some work on socialization so she can become the best dog she can be!
Contact:Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in Bella Mae.
Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175, or $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age. Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. With few exceptions, we show our adoptable animals on Saturdays from 12pm - 3pm at Petco in Novi (on Novi Rd south of 12 mile) or Petco in Farmington Hills (Orchard Lake south of 14 mile). Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
Please be kind to our volunteers who have made rescue a second job that they do in their spare time after coming home from full-time jobs. E-mail inquiries will be answered much more quickly than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
Thank you for your support of rescue and your interest in a rescue dog!
