Adoption pending!!

7/6/10: Hi everyone! My name is Bella. I'm a 1 1/2 year old blue female Great Dane. I've got a big heart...so big that it shows right through to my fur (see pictures)! My previous owners were forced to surrender me because they were not feeding me and were letting me roam the neighborhood. Can I just say that's the best thing that ever happened to me!! I was very skinny and scared when I came to my rescue friends but have since gained weight and I'm feeling pretty good!! I love all food and my foster parents say I can be a bit of a counter-surfer but they're teaching me that food will be provided and I don't have to search for my own anymore. My foster mom says I have a very laid back personality. I love other animals and like playing with other dogs. They think I learned to get along with everyone during my roaming days. I can be a little too playful with the kitties but I'm learning to hold back my excitement...just need to be reminded to be gentle. I'm great on a leash and I love to snuggle and be with my people!! In my temporary foster home, I was sleeping in the basement because they had just taken me in and they weren't sure how I'd be with the other dogs just yet. Well, I showed them!! I went through the doggie door in the basement, out into the yard and upstairs through the doggie door into the top part of the house. Guess where I ended up? Yup! In my foster mommy's bedroom for some snuggle time!!! I love all people, even kids. I walk from one person to the next for loving :) I also love to play fetch and have a lot of puppy energy left in me. I like going to Starbucks with my foster mom and riding in the car. I'm a smart girl too!! I'm quick to learn new commands, just need a little work on consistency. My foster mom says I've got to gain a little more weight before I'm spayed, whatever that is...but after that I'll be ready to find my new home!! Bella's adoption fee is $300

We require a fenced yard (exceptions made on a case by case basis - NO exceptions for puppies or deaf/vision impaired dogs), that all other animals in the home be up to date on vaccinations as well as spayed/neutered and that all dogs live inside as a part of the family.
