Bella

Bella was relinquished by her owners, alongside her two puppies. She’s a super sweet Mini Aussie, and is only about 20 pounds! She is gentle and loving, and adores people! She does well around other dogs, and enjoys going on walks! Bella would do well in a home that will show her what it means to have a loving family, and who will take her on all their adventures! Update 6/3/24: After Bella has opened up, she seems to have trouble with other dogs. She doesn't mind her puppies, but doesn't like when other dogs pass her kennel. We are not sure if she'd be able to go home with other dogs. If another dog is in the home, we will require a meet-and-greet here at the shelter before adoption to ensure a good fit. As she is kenneled with one of her puppies, she may just be trying to protect them, but we want her and other dogs to be safe. Bella is not yet fixed, but will be scheduled for that as soon as possible. We will accept adoption applications starting now, but she cannot go home until after that date. Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
