My Story

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT MASSPAWS. SEE CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW FOR THIS SPECIAL PUP. Meet Bella - a true family dog who checks all the boxes! She gets four-paws up from kids, other dogs, and even cats, but unfortunately this scrumptious two-year-old girl needs a forever home ASAP. Despite being very neglected while growing up, this two-year-old, 50-pound female is affectionate, cuddly, and loves to give hugs. She’s loyal and will be your little shadow. She has nice house manners and can be left to roam or be in a gated-off room when you leave home. Her favorite thing to do is play with her pink ball. You’ll be hard-pressed to find her without it or another ball that’s handy. She enjoys car rides, taking walks, and playing ball outdoors, but she is in her glory at a dog park where she can run free and be among her peers. She absolutely loves being with other dogs. For this reason Bella would love to have one or more pet siblings. They will help her gain confidence and expend energy! Her background is likely the reason she is nervous in certain situations. She would do best with someone who isn’t away from home for long hours. Though women get four paws up, Bella is initially afraid of men. It will take time and patience for her to feel comfortable. Let her get used to people and before long she’ll accept their friendship unconditionally. Why so urgent? A good Samaritan rescued Bella, with the intent of being her foster mom while finding her a new home. She thought this would be easy to do since Bella is such a great dog. However, Bella has to live under the radar because the foster already has two dogs, the limit for her apartment. Neighbors do not empathize and have started to complain. What’s worse is that the foster’s little boy is highly allergic to Bella’s dander, which the other dogs don’t have. Monthly shots don’t help, even though Bella is kept at a distance. PLEASE help Bella. She’d need time and patience to get used to a new place, but she’s so worth it! She’ll grow to love you unconditionally. She needs: an experienced dog owner with a woman in the home, pet siblings, and positive reinforcement. A fenced yard would be great! Though she’s good with toddlers, children 6+ are preferred. Note: Breed is just a guess, but she is probably a mix of terriers. Contact [email protected] to discuss! Please tell her Animal Rescue Konnection sent you!
