You will still be required to go through adoption counseling and pay for a license.** Hi, I'm Bella! I have been a bit nervous since arriving at the shelter. I will need a home that will be patient with me because I take a bit to warm up to people. Once I do I really enjoy snuggles and cuddles! I'm about 8 years old and weigh 57 pounds. ** Here is what a volunteer says about me: "What a beautiful, calm soul! Bella is so easy to walk and loves scratches around ears and back/tail, and seems to connect with a soulful gaze. Very sweet girl." ** Do you like dogs? I am not a fan of other dogs and based on previous history I am looking to be the only dog in the home. Cats? While I have no known history with kitties, staff suspect I will do best in a home without felines or other small animals due to my prey drive. Kids? I've lived with children previously but would prefer kiddos who can understand my boundaries and appropriately interact with me. (8+) I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption.
