My Story

"Mankind's true moral test, its fundamental test (which lies deeply buried from view), consists of its attitude towards those who are at its mercy: animals. And in this respect mankind has suffered a fundamental debacle, a debacle so fundamental that all others stem from it." -- Milan Kundera, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, 1984

I took Belina to be spayed on November 5th of 2007, so I got to know her personality a little bit on the way there. She was as quiet as a mouse on the way there, but terribly excited to get out of the car once we arrived at the vet clinic. I remember when someone dropped her at the shelter back in June of 2007....... she was covered with ticks and fleas, and it was truly difficult to visualize just how lovely she would one day become. What a transformation! That day is HERE, and she is ready for the GOOD LIFE that she deserves. Are you ready for Belina?
