Becky came to Precious Paws Rescue after her owner passed away and she was without a home. This poor girl has been through a lot in her life, she was rescued from a puppymill but the OSPCA after 6 years of forced breedings. Then, having been rescued and living in a loving home for 6 more years, she was again without a home.
Becky came to me a scared little girl and it used to take me 45 minutes to coax her out from under the bed to go outside. Slowly she began to trust me and then even started shadowing me. Becky and I developed such a close bond that I simply could not rehome her again. I wanted her to have a secure future and never have to worry about having to find another family to love.
Becky has now been with me for little over a year and I could not be happier. She shares her home with Allie (her big sister German Shepherd), Belle (her younger sister Chihuahua), Oliver (her Guinea Pig brother) and Lizzie (our permanent foster Chihuahua who was also rescued from a puppymill). Our little family is quite the mish-mash of rescues, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
