Hello, my name is Beauty, and I am a four or five year old beautiful female Great Dane mix. What is known about my past is that I came from a cruelty/neglect case in upstate SC were I was clearly used repeatedly for breeding. My boobs droop a little but there is a kind of beauty in imperfection and I am imperfectly perfect! My former owners also fed pig and cow manure to me to survive. What kind of person does that? Well, thankfully Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue (WEGDR) knew that beauty has a lot to do with character and swept me off my feet and took me to a safe place. Hence my given name of Beauty. However, when I arrived I had intestinal parasites, I was covered in fleas, totally skin and bones, and heartworm positive on arrival. Since being in the rescue and having a great foster mom, I have made a drastic turn around! I am now a healthy, beautiful girl more so than what I already was! When people meet me, I quickly become a favorite due to my sweet nature and loving personality. I’ve been told I am the most loving girl ever!!! I adore everyone I meet and am amazing with other dogs. I want a home where lots and lots of love is given.
