Beau

Beau is a well mannered but spry gentleman who is between 10-12 years old. This handsome gent is mostly terrier (likely Jack Russell). He weighs about 18 lbs and smiles at you and pricks up his ears when you come to take him for a walk. He is extremely expressive and will tell you how he feels if you just look into his face.

Beau is crate and leash trained and partially house trained. He really enjoys being around other dogs—he likes to play, but he does tire out easily…so a really young dog might wear him out if they were together all the time. He is also just fine around cats. He does have a moderate cataract in his eyes, so in low light or at dusk he needs you to keep hold of his leash…but in the full sunshine he will run and do a backwards willy-worm scoot on his back across the grass-grinning from ear to ear the whole time! And—he never just walks on a leash—he always prances like a walking horse!

Beau is a little timid at times, so sudden, loud noises scare him. He is also quite style-conscious, though, and wants you to keep him warm in the winter with little jackets or turtle-neck sweaters. Would you give this little distinguished gentleman a forever home?
