Meet Beatrice the 6yr Pit Mix! Beatrice has been in rescue for over one year and she can't wait to meet her forever family! She has the best house manners, is crate trained and she is always down to do whatever you want! She is such a sweet girl and she is so eager to please. She is the perfect mix of energetic and calm. She loves going for walks, chomping on water hoses, carrying her favorite stuffed toys around the house and taking naps on her doggy beds. We feel she would do great in almost any home. She would love a fenced backyard, but this is not required. She would also do fine with older children! Although Beatrice is almost the perfect dog in every sense, her one setback is she has proven to be quite dog selective. We have tested her with many doggy friends and unfortunately, she has only taken a liking to a few pups during her time here. Because of this dog aggression, she will require a home without any other dogs or cats. We have been working on this with her and she has made tremendous progress, although we still feel she would feel most comfortable (and it would be the safest) in a home without other animals.
