Beastie

Hello, my name is Beastie! My foster Mom says she named me that because I'm the cuddliest little man she's ever met ~ I just LOOOOOOOOOVE the hugs and smooches she gives! I’ve heard that laps are for sissies though so I’ll put my head on your leg or lean into your arms for a big hug, and it’s really cool to just lay at your feet and entertain myself with one of my favorite bones. I’m a gentle clown who loves to snuggle and the consummate house dog who knows how to behave like a gentleman both indoors and out! I get along great with kids and other dogs and I love to please my people. I especially love children of all ages ~ always patient, happy to play and knowing to NEVER jump on them 'cause I was raised with human toddlers! I'm always and forever ready for a good belly rug from anyone who’ll take the time to give me one ~ that’s my favorite thing on earth! My foster Mom treats me real special, saying I’m so smart, such a good boy and the best dog with her grandchildren that she’s ever seen. I’d do anything she asks for all those extra hugs and kisses! I’ve also learned to play fetch and to “sit”, “stay”, “wait” and “load up” plus I’m completely house, crate, car and even leash trained ~ putting my head through the loop and walking nicely on lead to go out for another adventure! There’s lots of other dogs here so I’m highly socialized, even made friends with everyone in the group. I make sure to announce the arrival of any strangers but I’m especially good with people, even the UPS man! My foster Mom lets me run the whole property and sleep in a nice bed without a crate, none of the other dogs get to do that but she trusts me a lot ‘cause I’ve never had an accident. She calls me her special “breed ambassador”, guess that means I’m a good boy! I’d really like to have a special person(s) of my very own, one who’ll teach me new things and maybe even take me to classes where I can show off my talents ~ I promise to shower you with love and a life time of devotion in return!

Beastie is a 1 year old, full grown 50 lb. neutered male American Staffordshire Terrier / Lab mix who is up-to-date with all routine shots, preventatives and micro chipped. His $150 adoption fee includes his neuter, de-worming, heartworm test, complete vaccination series, first month of Heartgard and Frontline preventatives, microchip and basic behavior training ~ he’s a ready made family pet who’s ready for his own home!
