Bear von Bautzen"

Bear von Bautzen is a stunning 6-7 year old long haired German Shepherd. Bear has such a luxurious coat and he can be such a sweet boy. Just call out to him and he runs up to you with a wagging tail and leans on you for petting. Bear's prior owner described him as smart, loyal, protective, good in the car and in the yard. At the rescue, Bear definitely enjoys his walks and is well-mannered on leash. Although he is a heavyset boy, he enjoys long walks - even a small jog, meeting dogs well. He knows “Sit” and is very treat-motivated (give treats with an open palm). Bear is a good greeter and super-friendly with female dogs in playgroups, but has little tolerance for pushy/dominant males, and he's a no for cats.
