Bear *PENDING*

Bear is a lovely creature who needs a new home - a home where he can get more attention than he is currently receiving.

Bear is a 3 year old Malamute/Labrador mix. He mostly looks like a Malamute with very little Labrador, but the true Lab in him shines in his athleticism. He can clear 8 steps quite easily, yet he has never tried to jump over the 52" fence in his back yard. With a little training, Bear would make a great skijoring partner! He seems to be born for it.

Bear is friendly and willing to play with anyone who gives him attention. He is good with children, but smaller children may be too small for his size as he could accidentally knock one over with his tail. He can roughhouse with other dogs, but will back off when instructed. His playmate for the past few years has been a smaller Heeler so he can mind his size when playing with other dogs.

Bear has been kept as an outside only dog. He would love to become a family member with someone who will spend more time with him and give him the attention he deserves. He'd love to help you get outdoors and be a true canine companion. He's a good boy.

Bear's adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies).
