Bear is a 1 year old (DOB 2/7/2023) Heeler/Border Collie/Catahoula mix neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative and on prevention, microchipped, kennel trained, and potty trained. He weighs about 45 pounds. He gets along with all of the dogs at our house, not tested with smaller dogs or cats. Has a high prey drive with the squirrels and rabbits outside. He is shy and cautious at first but warms up quickly. Highly motivated to learn and very ball driven. He also likes to cuddle up next to you on the couch. He is energetic, so I would recommend children 12 and older. He would make a great family dog.
I’ve been taking care Bear and three of his siblings since July. Trying to help a neighbor keep his unexpected litter out of the shelter. Willing to travel for the right home. Bear is being fostered in Abita Springs LA
