Bear

JULY 20, UPDATE: Bear will be going to NJ with Akita Rescue. He will be leaving in the next week. We will all miss him, but we are excited for him to move on. We thank everyone that has helped with Bear, his medical bills and getting him into the proper hands to find his forever home. Bear oh Bear, this darling old man has no problems. Benedryl is controlling any itches he has. His thyroid is fine and he's all set to go to a forever home. He's going to be a very lonely dog here pretty soon as we've adopted all the rest out. Can't you find it in your hearts to give him his last home? Bear was surrendered when his owners could no longer take care of him. He is a bit overweight and needs some exercise. He has only been with us for a few days and we haven't seen his whole personality, but from what he's showing, Hes as sweet as the day is long. He's more of a couch potato then anything else. He is 8 years old, up to date on shots and is neutered. UPDATE: Bear has some skin allergies. We are working with the vet on tests and such. The medical bills are mounting for this guy, but he's worth it. He's a sweet, sweet dog.
