My Story

Bear is a big, furry, goof who loves people, including kids, other dogs & cats. He currently lives in a house with 3 kids, 3 cats & 2 dogs (Bear makes 3.) He's a good boy with an obedience school diploma to back up the claim.

Born October 2008, Bear went straight from a breeder's to a family's. The problem is that the family found that they were in over their heads on the pet numbers. While two dogs worked, three was overwhelming. The kids are busy with school & extra-curricular activities. Not enough time is available on any one family member's part to really reinforce Bear's training. They think it's not fair to this great boy to shortchange him attention just because their schedules are too busy. So Underdogs is helping seek a new home for this beautiful purebred Lab.

We want this homing to be forever, a great fit. So we do require an application. There is also an adoption fee of $195.00. Bear is neutered, up to date on shots & accustomed to a crate. He needs someone who wants to refresh his training on Sit/Down/Stay. He also needs a regular exercise routine & engagement to keep his bright brain engaged.

If you think Bear might be a good fit for your family, contact Erin at 'Underdogs' for more information.
