Bear

8/9- Update on Bear from his foster mom- "Just a line to let you know all is well with Bear. I can't believe he hasn't been adopted yet, as he's very friendly and cooperative. The nipping has all but vanished. He has yet to have a potty accident in the house. He's even learning which toys are inside toys, and which stay outside. We stopped crating him weeks ago - even when we're not home. Although he often goes in to lay down and nap. The only difficulties we are having with him are with the leash. He all but refuses to walk, and crawls along on his belly, looking for some place to hide. It seems he's had a bad leash experience somewhere along the line. We're working on it, and he is improving, slowly. It probably doesn't help that our dogs go nutto when we leash anyone." 6/13- HI! I'm Bear! My sister, Sierra and I are lab mixes; I'm mostly black lab as you can see. We are fun, frolicky, energetic pups. We are very crazy when we play together, but more managable when we're apart. We love kids and other dogs, but would probably be better with older children, as we are "mouthy" when we play, and need to work on jumping up, too. We are doing ok with our leash training and are good off leash, and we don't potty at night in our crates, and don't have accidents in the house, either. I would love to meet you!
