My Story

#A5633423 Bear is a Golden Retriever/German Shepherd mix who came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center as an owner surrender on 6/18/2024. He is a fluffy sweetheart who seeks security from his person and loves affection. We think he's golden! 4 years old, 67 lbs Neutered male Golden Retriever/German Shepherd Fluffy coat with brown and gold, and a winning smile Looks to his handler/person to feel safe and secure Sweet personality Sure to build confidence in a patient, loving home where he can feel safe, relax and decompress from the stress of being at the shelter Defensive with other dogs so no other dogs in the home required Loves affection and will seek it out but is particular about how he likes being touched. Enjoys pets on his neck and shoulders and head scratches. Does not care to be touched on his back end Due his sensitivity of how he likes being pet, would do best in a home with no small children Take this golden boy home and love on him, and you'll definitely have a best friend for life!
