Meet BEAN !
BEAN is a 2 to 3 year old Bully mix that came into a Texas kill shelter after neither his owner or any of his family was able to care for him. He had been injured pretty badly by roaming dogs prior to coming into the animal shelter. Our group got him to the veterinarian clinic and his injuries were repaired. Bean then went to a medical foster to heal after losing weight and not doing well in the shelter environment. He is now fully healed and healthy. He walks well on leash, although he will pull a little unless he has a halter on while walking. He is doing better with his walks as we have been doing some training with him. He does well with other dogs as long as they are introduced slowly. He is not good with cats as he likes to chase them a little too much. He likes all people that he has met and is a happy guy with a fun personality ! He has not been around young children in the foster’s home and due to his size, he would tend to unintentionally bump into them. He would be better with children over 8 years old. Bean is a sweet dog that would make a great walking buddy, but would also love to curl up and watch sports or movies with his family.
*Bean is around 2-3 years old and weighs about 50 pounds.
*He is doing pretty well on a leash and loves to go on walks.
*He is good with other dogs when introduced slowly and is around other dogs in his foster home.
*He loves all people !
*He has a great smile !
