Baylee has been adopted by Mike L in Seattle where she now assists him in managing a large apartment complex. Baylee is a super-talented, intelligent, high-energy girl who loves running, playing and going to school ... and then happily switches into "snuggle-me" mode when it's time to kick back. If you are looking to get involved in high-level training activities such as agility, search-and-rescue, or therapy work, Baylee may be just the partner for you.

This strikingly attractive girl was born around January 2009, and weighs about 45 lbs. She has spent the past six weeks with a foster who has put her through the CGC training program and started her on agility and therapy training. She was the star of her class every step of the way, and completely fearless when challenged by new environments or activities. She is an excellent off-leash running and trail-riding companion, who can be trusted to stay close by.

Baylee is friendly to most adults, is good with cats, and gets on well with other dogs. She is crate trained, but would not be happy if crated all day every day while you are at work. However, if left unconfined and unsupervised, she will entertain herself, and could be destructive. For this reason she needs an owner who is retired or works from home, or can take her to work.

Baylee can be nippy, mouthy and excitable, so is not suitable for a home with young or timid children. She would do best with an experienced owner who is committed to training her, and who enjoys an active lifestyle.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, she will come to you spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots, and treated for internal and external parasites. Her adoption fee of $185 will help offset these costs. We will work with approved adopters to arrange transport anywhere in the Pacific Northwest.
