Meet handsome Baxter! He is ~ 5 months old and already weighs ~50 lbs, so will be a large to extra large dog when full grown. He has medium to high energy, but is not hyper. Baxter is described as friendly, active and social. He is socialized with people and has been around kids ages 9-12. He is fine with other dogs and cats. In his last picture he is with his beautiful mom. Please consider this big teddy bear of a pup for your home! Adoption fee $400.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
