My Story

Bart has found his forever home with the King family in Braintree, MA

UPDATE 10/24: Bart is being fostered in Braintree, MA so please apply for this great boy now!

This handsome boy is Bart!!! He is a Black Lab Mix, weighing 30 lbs at approx 9 months old who was found abandoned on the side of a country road in the south. He is a pup with a high activity level who loves to run & play. He has normal curiosity towards cats, gets along well with other dogs and has been tested with children as young as 3 and as old as 16 and does well. Bart is learning his basic commands, is house trained except for a very occasional accident, and is crate trained. He loves to play with toys and it's a good idea to keep him supplied with toys or else he might like to eat your shoes, etc. He loves to run so would likely make a great running partner for someone. If this boy is right for your home please apply for him today. He would do best in a home with children over the age of 7 or 8 due to his activity level and general puppy behavior. His adoption fee is $375

Please complete an online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.

Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
