ADOPTED!! Bart was adopted by a family who previously adopted a great pooch named Cowboy from us last year. So now Cowboy & Bart get to run & play together daily! His patient new family is prepared to continue to bring him out of his shell and make sure he gets to go running daily! Thanks Natalia, Maria & Mark for giving Bart a wonderful home! ORIGINAL POSTING: Bart was found wandering about with his sister, Lisa, no collars or tags, when he perched himself upon one of our partner's front lawn. He & Lisa hung out there for the day and decided to make themselves at home. A search for their parents produced no one, so we took them in to find them a wonderful new homes! Lisa's been adopted, but Bart is still on the bandwagon looking for his forever home!! Bart's a Mini Australian Shepherd mix, so he's only 19 lbs. He is a mischievous little guy who LOVES dogs and plays well with every pooch he meets! He's a little shy with people at first, but he warms up within minutes and then he's all smiles! He loves the attention doted on him and he's a very happy go lucky guy! You can always count on Bart to initiate a good game of chase at the dog park or a wrestling match will do too! He's a great little family dog who's smart and has a wonderful attitude. He's lived with kids from the ages of 2 yrs to 7 yrs. so we know he's terrific with them also.
