Barnum

BARNUM is a lovable ~2 year old who was rescued from Texas. He was born in a small town in the Lone Star State where he spent the first few years of his life wandering the streets and surviving on scraps. Despite his struggles, Barnum remained a happy-go-lucky pup with a tail that never stops wagging. Barnum is kennel/ housetrained trained and walks wonderful on a leash. One of Barnum's favorite activities is going on walks. He loves nothing more than putting on his leash and heading out for a stroll around the neighborhood. Whether it's a short walk around the block or a long hike through the woods, Barnum is always up for an adventure. His favorite toys are the ones that squeak, and he also like to play fetch. Barnum is the perfect size at just over 50 lbs and would make the best cuddle buddy. If you're looking for a loyal and fun-loving companion to join your family, Barnum may be just the dog for you. With his charming personality and love for adventure, he's sure to bring joy and excitement into your life every day. He IS a flight risk, though, and so no invisible fences for Barnum, and we'd greatly prefer a securely fenced in yard for him so there's less risk of him slipping away at the door. This dog is part of a partner rescue in NY, and is available to a larger distance from us than normal - within a few hour distance from Rochester, NY, OR between Rochester and NYC area and closer to the NY tri-state area. We are not a shelter and are completely foster-based, so there are NO DOGS KEPT AT THE SHOP. PLEASE NOTE: If a dog is listed as Adoptable, he or she is still available at that time.
