Barney *PENDING*

Barney is a sweet, cuddly miniature Dachshund. He has a sleek, easily-groomed coat, floppy ears, and melting dark eyes. He is young (maybe 1 year-old or so). He is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is smart and eager to please. Poor Barney somehow ended up as a stray, and he is never wants to find himself living outside again. He is still rather thin as a result of his time on the streets, but is working hard at putting the weight back on (he is very food motivated).

Barney is housebroken, and learned how to use a doggy door in just a couple of days. He is a little timid at first when in a new situation, but is a very loving, loyal dog once he feels at home. He likes to play, likes to eat, but most of all, likes to be with his people.

Barney is bow-legged, presumably a result of genetic issues, but he gets around just fine. He was just neutered and had all his shots updated.

Barney's adoption fee is $150, which includes his neuter surgery and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.)
