Barney was rescued from a horrible hoarding situation where he was confined to a crate for the first 9 months of his life and he was not even able to fully stand up and he was on his urine and feces 24/7. Since being rescued he has cleaned up beautifully and is learning to trust. He’s missed his puppy-hood so he is trying to make up for it now by being very playful! He does love to cuddle, though. He has done well with his potty training but will need close supervision at first to establish patterns in your home. He doesn’t realize he isn’t a tiny puppy so he is best to not have with very small dogs. He has not be tested with cats or children yet.
Barney is heartworm positive since he was not taken care of properly before but his treatment will be covered by the rescue. ?
Additional info: Barney has the SOFTEST coat. His fur was described as “like petting a rabbit”.
