Barney
Breed
German Shepherd Dog, American Staffordshire Terrier
My name is Barney! I am 31% German Shepherd and 20% Staffordshire Terrier. I am a year and a few months old (as of July 2023). My mom was found wandering the streets of Yuma and brought to Pets Return Home. Our litter was born here, and momma Mollie had six of us.
I really like to run, hike, and play most of the time. I have a cool dude kind of attitude – nothing gets me crazy like some of these other kooks in my family. I will need some house training because I have been outside a lot. When I am in the house, I am good. I sleep in my crate and then in the morning we all run outside and do our business. I am a puppy – beautiful and loving. Like all pups, I need some training.
I absolutely adore humans. I am a friendly boy and am waiting for you to come to rescue me, hug me, and let me be your family companion forever. Will you rescue me?
All dogs/puppies receive 12 weeks of behavior therapy and assessment, necessary medical treatment, rabies and core vaccinations, parasite prevention, a microchip with free lifetime registration, and lifetime behavior support. Your new companion will have current behavior and medical history. DNA results are included with puppies and are optional for adult dogs (added fee).
PLEASE READ: Barney resides at the Pets Return Home Ranch and the FIRST step to meeting Barney is to fill out the online application (link below). While Ribsey's Refugees DOES know all of the PRH dogs posted, RR is a totally separate entity. RR is not connected with PRH and does cross postings for other organizations to help give the dogs more exposure. You MUST fill out the PRH application FIRST!
PRH saves unadoptable, abandoned, neglected, and abused homeless dogs. We are a NO-KILL shelter staffed by volunteers. PRH provides shelter, behavior/medical rehabilitation, adoption, and sanctuary for all our dogs.
Their adoption process ensures the best dog is matched with the best family and starts with the completion of an adoption application.
