Barney

Here's Barney! Barney was adopted from the Animal Care Center (ACC) 9 years ago by a lovely family that can no longer care for him. The woman was heartbroken and had decided to have him euthanized, because she thought no one would want an older dog if she took him to the shelter. HART got a tearful call by ACC and asked us to help.

Barney is VERY sweet and has a lot of energy for a 9 year old! He enjoys spending time outside and he enjoys some TV time on the couch too. He gets along very well with other dogs.

Barney sits up on his hind legs and begs! Don't fall for it every time though! He was a bit chunky when HART rescued him, but has lost 5 lbs. and is at 14 lbs. now. Barney is friendly and full of spunk and personality. The gals at ACC vet's office love him!

Barney is neutered, housetrained, up to date on shots including bordatella. He's microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventative. He's all ready for YOU!
