Barb

Meet Barb! This super sweet girl had a rough start at life: she was caught by shelter workers while giving birth in a field. She continued giving birth at the shelter, just to have them separate the puppies from her. We pulled the puppies, and Barb, and reunited them. Her pups have long since been adopted, but poor Barb has been waiting over a year for her forever home. Barb is extremely loyal and loving to people that she knows. She is hesitant of strangers, until you introduce them properly (treats seal the deal). Once Barb knows you, youre in her pack for life and she will love you forever. But she definitely doesnt want strangers coming in the house without permission. Shes protective of her family and home, and we know theres someone out there who wants a dog to help keep their home safe! Barb is great with other dogs. She mostly ignores them and lives peacefully in the same space. She loves walks and runs and even bike rides. She is fully house trained and crate and muzzle trained. Barb is about 7-8 years old and likely a huskey shepherd mix. She weighs about 60 pounds. Pups Without Borders is based in Los Angeles, California. For our adult and large breed dogs, we are happy to help with transportation to neighboring states.
