My Story

Elegant is the word that comes to mind when you see this little guy. Banjo is a beautiful, fine-boned Italian Greyhound X Chihuahua mix (from our best guess) who was rescued from a high-kill shelter where he turned up as a stray. He will be coming to Calgary soon from LA!

He was severely emaciated and even with the good care from the shelter volunteers he needs to put on some much needed weight. We suspect his ideal weight will be around 7.5-lbs.

Banjo is very gentle, loving and somewhat shy. He loves to play fetch and to run - he has the makings of a fine agility dog..... He loves to play with the other dogs and gets along well with everyone. He is submissive by nature so has the potential to get picked on by more dominant dogs. Banjo is a minimal barker as well.
